Darach Mac Lochlainn

Darach is an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).  He is a registered psychotherapist with LAYA Healthcare.

Darach has a Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapist from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. Since graduating in 2016, Darach has held positions in Mental Health with the HSE and Pieta House.

Darach provides a non-judgemental space for clients, so that they are free to share what is going on for them. In building a trusting relationship with clients, and working in an empathic collaborative way, Darach helps clients to become more self-aware. Using a strength based approach, Darach inspires people to feel more empowered to overcome whatever issues they face.

Darach’s therapeutic approach is Integrative meaning it combines a Humanistic approach with Reality Therapy/Choice Theory, and other approaches depending on what would work for a client.

Darach supports clients presenting with the following: Anxiety, Addiction, Bereavement and loss, Depression, General Counselling, Panic attacks, Relationships, Stress, Self-esteem, and Work related problems.
